It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

In my office we were asked if we wanted to take a day off in lieu or be paid for the day.
My day off is Friday 3/6. I took the money, the day off is subject to operational requirements and you may not be able to have a day you really want or need.
On 10/6 I should receive 7.49hours overtime in my pay.

Reading between the lines, I assume any hours worked by Angard casuals after 12 noon Friday 27th May will not be paid until the Friday 10th May. Am I interpreting this correctly? We’ve had no direct correspondence from the agency regarding pay dates.

Isn't Angard's payroll completely separate from RM's payroll?
