useless and out of date frames
I've had the displeasure of being presented with so many of the above, it makes my blood boil, and it's not the fault of the management, it's the fault of the walkholder. It is the fault of the management for not kicking the walkholder up the arse for not getting his frame updated 'cos a block of flats was demolished 2 years ago, and I'm wandering Oldham looking for it, a particularly bad office for this type of problem, and I've worked in quite a few.

In my DO it's nearly impossible to get any frames changed/updated, the bosses just expect you to get on with it (so many frames have extra on them now that we sometimes have 3/4 AP's to a slotcouncillor wrote:I've had the displeasure of being presented with so many of the above, it makes my blood boil, and it's not the fault of the management, it's the fault of the walkholder. I imagine the walk holders are so busy getting sorted and out to delivery that the tidiness of frames suffers. It would be nice - once in a while - if management offered some "Sunday" overtime for volunteers to come in and "tidy" the office and catch up with things like updating walk logs and bringing frames up to date!!!
Doubt it will ever happen.

We do ours ourselves,well i do them as part of my WPC duty.Dont use the computer we do them by hand with a template and a thin marker
This way takes longer about 2 hours a frame,but we spread the whole walk out where possible and add any new delivery points when required.Its crazy i know but when management done them most were fecked up and it was chaos.

I've just done mine the other week - 90 mins docket or so after coming back from delivery.....nice - the good thing was, I dropped a couple of double slots that only need one, but bumped up a number of singles that need two ( but I'm sure I've still cocked it up a bit - the time to do it is not when you're dreaming of going home to get your RM kit off & drinking a nice brew
)
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?
