Full time vs part time pay

Hi, anybody have a take home figure for part time vs full time wage please? Obviously ignoring overtime. Just the basic weekly wage after tax & ni. I had heard it was about £70 difference but wanted to check.

How did you hear it was a difference of £70. obviously a ft on a basic wage will earn more than a pt on basic wage.

As of July, and the changes to NI, a part time postie on 20 hours will practically pay zero tax or NI, so their only deduction should be 6% pension. Approx £245 take home.
Any hours above 20 will have deduction of about 40%.....tax 20.....NI 13.25 and pension 6%. So each hour take home about £8
I think that's right, my maths is not what it was !!

I think full time posties get around 380 after tax ni and pension , I’m part time 25 hours if I was to just do my contract I would get £276 after all deductions this includes delivery supplement

The difference of a PT on 30 hours is about £70 comapred to a FT. Source I was PT then made up to FT.

I work 19.5 hours(week on week off). Take home after all deductions is circa £228 per week-hope that helps
