Delivering for the Future - two weeks to go

In less than two weeks our new delivery structure will officially go live.

All our new appointees are involved in workshops that will help us to shape our new ways of working. They are also getting to grips with their brand new Surface Pros which started arriving last week.

Delivering for the Future is an important and exciting step forward in the reinvention of Royal Mail - check out this short video to see why.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Shall we revisit this in a few months to see how many of these managers who are so excited about this new era have moved on with their surface pros under their arms

I take it these "Surface Pros" are the new Go-Faster Trainers everyone's talking about? They enable us Posties to run around much quicker and deliver a lot more parcels. :cuppa

As part of the process of selecting the Surface pro It is recognised that Wi-Fi coverage is limited on the operational floor at some locations, in these circumstances managers will need to download information to maximise benefits of using tablets to interact with their teams :left:

Surely if you have no WiFi and just download the information the super sexy Surface Pro just becomes a very expensive clipboard?

Are we going to get performance enhancing tablets to go with the Surface Pro Trainers? This just gets better and better. I'm going to be breaking my PB for delivering my round. :Very Happy

I might even get one of those postcards from Si saying Well Done Keep it up! :cuppa

I'd love this transformation to be a raving success, all these top managers have done though is alienated the entire workforce. Unite and the CWU balloting. Never been heard of. Managers fuming at how they are being treated. I forecast offices with managers calling in sick on mass. Many were desperate to go and have been kept on, they are fuming. Glass tinted glasses in the ivory towers. I hope sense prevails, this is going to be chaos.

Hey pRicky

We haven't had our revision yet, that's six months late so good luck with your two weeks!
