It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

It's an official bank holiday, so yes. We don't get the Saturday off though as far as I am aware.

as advertised, we all get thur/fri off bank holiday but like millions of the UK it's sat regular working day
i'd implore all reserve posties to demand double time and absolutely refuse a credit for any day off they give you if either the thu or fri off, bust their budget!
the cwu leaders should be promoting this now but they never ever do, they're too weak, it's your choice what to accept, not theirs, credit you can't book or double pay = to the b/h

Walks will be working Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Saturday that week. Mail Centres Nights will be Monday Tuesday and Wednesday into Thursday Lates will be Monday Tuesday Wednesday Earlies Will be Tuesday Wednesday and Saturday.
