Bank Holiday premium

Post by Boracay70 »

Hello everyone,

Due to feeling the squeeze, I have decided to work on Good Friday, delivering parcels. As yet, I cannot find out exactly how much extra I will get paid.
The work carried out will be from a different DO where I am based. Is there anyone out there who could advise me?
Happy Easter to you all

Last time I did it, the pay rate was bank hol s/a in the £17s/h. I stand to be corrected.

From what I remember you should be given a choice of either time and a half or half pay plus a day off in lieu.

Where are you delivering parcels? I thought there weren't any parcel deliveries on Good Friday.

We've got people delivering parcels on Easter Day (Sunday)!

Lad who does it regular at our place is getting £18 something per hour which looks to be around time and a half.
