Coming back from sick to find out our previous DOM, who afaik was fired for being a homophobic c***!!! Is now my area manager. Are you really going to allow this @cwu? I’m utterly disgusted that this man still has a job, let alone a f***ing promotion!!! Wake the f**k up! Please. Oh, excuse my language. Apparently managers have free will, so why the f**k do I not!!!!!!!

You need to be very careful and a lot more sure than "afaik" if you're going to do anything.

It is highly unlikely, in fact I'd go as far as to say definitely not the case that he was "fired" at any point for homophobia, what is far more likely is that the case against him wasn't proven and he was moved elsewhere for the sake of the office.

People who are fired for what is definitely gross misconduct do not tend to reappear in a more advanced role.

I’m a little embarrassed by that rant. Sorry, I may have had a few shandies.

The case was definitely proven, it involved a local mp getting involved and the evidence was on social media for all to see.

What I think happened was he was given a 2 year serious or something similar and moved sideways to a different office.

The rumour is that there was no mention of this when he was interviewed for the area manager role, but there’s no hard evidence of that and the local mangers are very coy about it all.

So far there is an open letter being circulated through the office asking senior management to address this, but I’m not sure what else can be done?

Please post a link to show the case was proven even if it's just social media. I'd like to avoid this individual.
