holidays !

help please ! i work in a mc in the mech area and require a holiday swap, have arranged a swap with a mate from the manual section . we can both run the same machines and both sort local and primary letters and pkts , so why should rm have a problem with these swaps just cause were in different leave books .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as im aware if your both trained to perform the duties then there shouldnt be a problem, get your rep to ask your manager what the problem is?? Probably just some power crazed knob in the duties office who overestimates his/her importance

Hi Weetrogg, spoke to my nightshift manager last night, swap is ok . asked the question because last year the same power mad duties manager declined someone else a swap under the same condition, ie two people in different leave books. DOH!!!!!!!!!!! only been working for rm for nearly 22 years and she can`t remember who i am when i phone up .
anyway FLORIDA here i come !!!!!!!!
