An insidious disease is any disease that comes on slowly and does not have obvious symptoms at first.
The person is not aware of it developing.

Aggravated at work means what you are doing at work does not help the condition.

An obvious one is Plantar Fasciitis.
Starts as an annoying ache then develops quickly the more you walk on it.

Hope this helps.

Cheers know all about plantar fascitis. been told i have both tennis an golfers elbow in both arms by two private physios. report above was done by physio i was sent to through ohs hardly even done an assessment on me but said it was all psychological.told me that in private but no mention in his report. so just cannot get my head around what he put in his report. was just wondering could it be classed as a work related injury as i dont play any sport at all.

Most joint problems are age related (Musculoskeletal degenerative) basically wear and tear as we get older or diseases such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Golfers elbow - is damage to the muscles and tendons (soft tissue)that control your wrist and finger caused by repetitive stress.
