Missed Track

Post by geordieboy123 »

I got pulled by the manager this morning, he told me that three of my tracked parcels wasn’t scanned yesterday so I manually entered them on the pda before the 08.00 deadline although I was sure I didn’t miss them. I decided to knock on these customers doors and they all confirmed that they received notification that they had been delivered shortly after I left, is anyone else experiencing this?

Can you recall actually taking photos when you delivered them?

That's a a good point, having to take a photo may help jogging our memory if these things happen, had a few where the dogs been trying to lick my nose or they've jokingly said mind my pink slippers etc.

08:00 deadline? We’re still prepping at that time!

I don't understand this bit either - was the 0800 deadline you refer to the day after the alleged missed scans? So did
the manager have the relevant tracking numbers and gave you them to enter as a failed scan or something?

Yes exactly, apparently if you manually enter the tracking number prior to 08.00 it doesn’t get classed as missed

Yeah it's the guy who usually sits in the office drinking coffee and playing on his phone, ours delegates such things as this to the office brown noser ahem...coach
