All in all, it takes about 3 months before we get them to then be able to send them to you.
That was in December-ish.
Baring in mind what is going on in the world, it's probably been even more delayed.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Got the new shoes, vizzy bib and trousers.
All very good.
Shoes needed some breaking in but ok now.
Vizzy bib has two large zip pockets which are handy. And it glows in the dark

Gilet? What's supposed to keep our arms covered in the future when we're out on deliveries?scotboyblue wrote: ↑18 Mar 2022, 17:05A new recruit in our office got the new gilet jacket. However not seen anyone else receiving any new uniform yet.

You people seem to have forgotten where you work. Your colleagues are still stealing the old uniform. You’ll be lucky if you ever see the new stuff.

I've had a new shirt now. It's horrible, entirely synthetic and looks disgusting.
The ridiculous hats too..

Re: Where’s the new Uniform then?
Yep everyone in Huddersfield. No one really likes the colour scheme but apart from the cap it's pretty decent to wear, the one good thing about it is that in low light conditions, like going to and from work in Winter, the top layer has strips that reflect light, but also are luminous even if there is no light to reflect it.
Its also very warm, and the jacket and trousers are actually waterproof except in the heaviest rain, the storm coat seems more waterproof.
1 Plus is everything has more pockets, however, there are no inside pockets but it is a minor issue for me.

Are all the pockets made of a decent material that won't rip easily?
