OH telephone call. IHR.

Post by itsme100 »

Any advice please. Injured at work been off on sick with a bad back. OH report 6 weeks ago stated I cannot return to my original role, manager should do scoping exercise to find a suitable position for me with certain things in place. Manager got back to me she’s done the scoping exercises - no positions anywhere. Basically said My only options are to go back to my role or resign? Spoke to union. Obviously not the right thing to say to me. Union said to ask for IHR. Manager said she will look at doing this. Now I’ve got a second OH telephone call.

What will the second telephone call consist of? How likely is it I would get IHR? I’m under 40. But given the report stating I cannot do my role and there’s no vacancies what would be any other option? Any advice is appreciated

You do not have to disclose to a future employer you took IHR Redundancy

You can say you took redundancy as the job has changed and was more physical as an example
