hi ive posted befor i left RM after my wife got cancer and since she is in remision i would like to come back but ive applied loads of time get an interview then unsucsesful is it me am i doing something wrong or is it hard for an old postie to get his job back any ideas if im doing something wrong or am i just on a blacklist and they take the piss when my name gets an interview

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

According to our DOM the centralization of HR means they often don't get sent any of the "successful" applications despite being asked to hire people, and then have to jump through hoops to get the people they personally think are right for the job.

One of our lot left, then applied to come back. Was told he didn't have the experience. You couldn't make this s**t up.
His problem was he was too big for the screws to intimidate.
