Pay rates for part-timer

Post by upsydaisy »

I am only contracted to work 8 hours on a Sunday doing parcels.

I have done some overtime on weekdays and some extra hours on Sundays. Checking my payslips I seem to be paid different amounts per hour for the overtime. I know the Sunday overtime rate is more. The weekday overtime differs by up to 50p an hour on different payslips.

Is there anywhere I can look up what I should be paid for overtime?

Thank you

there are different rates of overtime outside of sundays.

There is one rate called SSPR which is from your contract hours to 37. (this includes the Delivery Supplement)
There is first 10 hours after 37 - This is the same rate for everyone
Then there is hours after the first 10- This is also the same rate for everyone.

If you're contracted to Sundays make sure that you're getting the Sunday Supplement, not Sunday OT rate.

Thank you. I have worked it out now.

Yes I get the Sunday premium pay. It took a bit of backwards and forwards but it got sorted eventually.
