Delivery staff, are you going out on delivery today?

Obviously this may be area dependant and I'm not asking you to reveal your office, but I'm just curious how your DOM is handling the storm. Also, has your local distribution unit delivered to your office or has that been called off?
I've coincidentally got today off so I'm not having to face this but expect the disruption will spread over the weekend and into Monday.

imo all deliveries in the two areas covered by the red warnings should be cancelled today at the minimum and give how powerful this storm is going to be then really RM ought to cancel all deliveries everywhere

I work in one of today’s red weather areas. At first they told us to “be careful” out there! Within half hour that changed - drivers went out to do reg only, and to be back in office by 9.30. Everyone was told to get back home by 10am. Some common sense at last!

We were told last night no on is to attempt to leave for work before 12, then those who make it in will only be there until normal finish time.
Manager said he'll be on a call from 9am and update us. It's now 10:06 and no update

Yes!!! They told us that they expect some”goodwill” over the coming days to make up for going home early today!!

hahaha goodwill ffs all those times delivery's left in for 2+ days and nothing.Now it's on the other foot and they want us to do them a favour.
