Being a CEO of a company

Post by roadrunner bill »

I wonder at night how a CEO sleeps at night.... their main gain is for thier own wealth.... as human beings... and to enrich the elite... share holders in any one company....

How sad they think like this...... because it comes with a very heavy price..... at the expense of its work force...... who suffer badly..... who are on the front line...... being forced and coerced into impossible work loads....

It seems to me.... that people don't matter... who work till they drop......

So profit... and money... can be for the elite....

What a sad planet.... earth is...... :thumbdown

What makes me pause for thought.. .. is a CEO of a company. think they are important... they truly know nothing....

It's sad but the guy in charge is doing a great job of making everything look fantastic so the ceo is doing a fantastic job and making great money and will soon be replaced by someone exactly like him.nobody cares about frontline staff the history of Royal mail its all gone money is all that matters.

Many years ago I watched a documentary about a small engineering company who's managing director made all office staff including the secretaries and himself do 2 weeks work on the shop floor every year so that everyone understood the problems etc that can occur on a daily basis on the front line that can hinder targets and fulfilling contracted customer orders. The upside was a more efficient less stressed company.

Telling everyone he wants to hear from them and then ignoring everything they say.

Telling the markets everything is fine and going ahead as planned, then a week later realising there aren't enough vans.

Ducking responsibility for a disastrous Christmas. Being ultimately responsible for the corporate lies about "every letter being important" and issuing the same copy and paste statement to every newspaper or politician who dares point out the failures.

Pinning the blame on the frontline staff no matter how detached they are from the decision makers.

Only taking advice from people who tell you what you want to hear.

And if he doesn't sleep at night its probably our fault.

Anyway, we know what we are doing so lets move on.........
Royal Mail
failing the workforce, failing the public and deliberately failing mail on a daily basis for too many years.

Ensuring you announce your profits with great fanfare, a few weeks before you would actually need to start using that money to make sure your employees can do the job properly at the busiest, most obviously difficult time of year, and ensuring that money instead sees it's way into the pockets of rich people

Is it a poem?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

CEOs and politicians, the psychopaths and sociopaths of this world, they have no empathy and only care about power and enriching themselves. The only way we win is by standing together and saying enough is enough. They hold on to power by dividing and distracting the masses.
