Door stepping or not?

Post by Clarky3232 »

Hi there,

Quick question.

You knock on a customers door, he pokes his head out the window and asks you to leave it on his door step as he’s in a call.

Who’s in the wrong if something happens?

Cheers.

You are, never ever leave anything on a doorstep even if ask to. Seen it all before, what happens if he comes to the door and it’s gone? You will be in the brown stuff. :wave

Even if they are in? He specifically lent out and told me to leave it for him? You still put a card through and bring it back?

Also the guy was sitting at the window by the front door so I’m not sure why he didn’t just collect them :confused :confused

With photos soon being required for all Tracked items, if the door isn't opened the only option will be to 739 it.

This must be another attempt to bring down the denial of receipt numbers.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

It’s going on the step whether he/she pokes his or her head out or not….simple
