You are, never ever leave anything on a doorstep even if ask to. Seen it all before, what happens if he comes to the door and it’s gone? You will be in the brown stuff.

Also the guy was sitting at the window by the front door so I’m not sure why he didn’t just collect them

With photos soon being required for all Tracked items, if the door isn't opened the only option will be to 739 it.
