Transfer & contract

Post by wolves4767 »

Hi all just looking for some info if possible I'm part time on 31 hrs & got the chance to transfer to a office closer to home but the new office part timers are 30hrs , the 1hr isn't that much of and issue as we all now there is normally hrs if you want OT my concern is will I be on a new contract as its less hrs than the one I have now ? The new ones are mon to sun contracts now? And do not want to commit to Sunday working while I still have a choice
Thanks

How long have you been with the company? The new contract with Sundays included are for new starters. You keep your current terms and conditions you’re just changing office and hours.

Can't say for sure in your case, but before I got permanent full time, my hours were constantly being increased or decreased.
Each time I received a document to sign, this was not a full contact it was more a statement to confirm the specific change/variation in my contact.
Everything stayed the same except the specific change.
I would imagine in your case you would get something similar, just confirming change in location and slight reduction in hours
