Job agency to Royal Mail

Post by L22eew »

Dear all.

I have been working via a Job Agency (assigned work to Royal Mail) for a few months.

Recently I was successful in applying for a position via the RM recruitment website.
Passed assessment.
Passed interview.

My start date will be in a few weeks, which I'm extremely pleased about.

My question is,

The temporary work is currently fulfilled in a different delivery office, compared to the one I will be based at. Has anyone carried out their RM role Mon-Sat in their main office, and continued with the temporary work in a different office (via Job agency?)

Or is that a big no no?

All the best
:whistle

Rule of thumb in the business is you do the overtime in your own office before you do it elsewhere.
Also it's a bit weird ain't it?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
