Yep I chuck the lot in Monday mornings, meaning we get out later & take less mail, but it’s one job ticked off & gets the screws off your back

Two weeks before Christmas the office was piled high with undelivered current leaflets. Big bosses came in and miraculously the next day they had vanished. Piff Paff Puff. Some rounds are still piled high with them.

Just seem to be getting pushed under your bench some rounds in our office have 20 trays of letters and flats and sack loads of parcels next to them and that’s after they’ve been taken out how we’re not on the naughty list is beyond me absolutely shocking service d2d are the least of our troubles

Yes. Guesting on a walk this week, and on a traditionally busy Wednesday, swamped with test kits, only took out one loop. It slowed me down considerably, so it turned out to be a good decision. Balancing a pair of kits, 2 bits of paper and a PDA is quite tricky. Who knew?

A lot of walks have rolled over last week's D2D due to the New Year disaster. There should never have been D2D last week to begin with.

Most of our duties seem to be clearing their Housholds, with the majority throwing them off after Delivery on Saturday, or first thing Monday.

The main problem seems to be the duties where someone's sick, holiday or day off. Athough the Mail is getting thrown off (even if the duty doesn't go out) no-ones prepping the Households. This also goes for the PT Duties prepped by FTers. The Households are the first thing that gets pushed to one side when we start struggling.

I suppose it's fairly obvious that if there's mail not being delivered people can't really see the relevance of worrying about the Households.

It doesn't help when we seem to be getting a lot more Late Arrivals of some contracts. You throw off three contracts and then several days later another one turns up. Of course then RM want them delivered by the end of the week!

Certainly not being done, mostly because the frames are rammed with mail, one road on one of our deliveries has not had a delivery of mail for 9 days now! Leave letters and concentrate on packets seems to be all the managers say.
