I'm already getting annoyed at everyone calling it a 4 day weekend. You can bet it won't be for us, we'll be working Saturday. Will the union even bother to try and get us the 4 days ? I rather doubt it.

I must've misread it thinking that we'd got all 4 days off. It'd be nice if the union pushed for a non service day but I suspect the chances of that would be slim.-

I wasn't expecting the Saturday Screw-over to happen again so soon. Might be embarassing for Royal Mail for their staff to be seen out working on a supposed royal holiday. I know they have no shame, but they do have a PR department.

You are allowed to work apparently but you have to put some black tape over the crown insignia on the vans.

It seems The CWU have already got onto this and have started the ball rolling for it to be a non service day.
