Amesbury delivery office walked out this morning
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Amesbury delivery office walked out this morning
Absolutely beyond hilarious that the union can claim ‘solidarity’ with these guys when it was the unions shambles of an agreement that has caused this. These revisions are a complete mess and are causing mental health problems for lots of us staff involved. As someone above asked, where is Terry? Probably spending his 100k+ wage without a care in the world would be my guess. Shameful.

I'm surprised Terry wasn't in an upstairs window pissing on them.
As above, how can the union claim "solidarity" when Terry has been a little nodding dog for everything the company have said and done.
Too f***ing late CWU - the company and the union are equally f****d.

Re: Amesbury delivery office walked out this morning
Your right re Union-but I never joined, and impact re my 20 plus years service here not been an issue to me, so cannot casitgate/comment greatly
According to Daily Express 90 postcodes listed today Areas in trouble
And that 90 does not include some areas I personally know in dire trouble-walks failed LATs sent back tracked failed Covid test kits piled up in tray waiting to go out
I know Union invisible but strangely so is our CEO ???
Leaderless and Rudderless ?? lot of money being paid
My old adage EARN IT !!!!!!!!
Covid going nowhere , fatigued/illness/injury ravaged depots Pay going down in April re national insurance increase
cost of living also bit doom and gloom at present

Out on the gate nationally, I hope, in the not too distant.
I'm not holding my breath though.

I asked this before and it went unanswered... if everyone is fed up of the CWU why are we sticking with them. Is it possible to change our union or are we stuck with them. Its obvious it's just a money maker for them and they have not got our interests at heart.

Re: Amesbury delivery office walked out this morning
The CWU have kind of been screwed by the "hire people on 20-30 hour contracts and tell them the job pays less than it does" routine. I didn't join when I started as the fees were too high... As it goes I could have afforded it, but a lot of part timers in our depot never joined for the same reason
Still a shambles though

Wow still playing the old bullshit, all they have done is fob the rep off with `assurances`that will never materialize.
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!

Re: Amesbury delivery office walked out this morning
It was voted in by members, well by deliveries, MCs and RDCs combined are outnumbered by deliveries by at least 2:1 so in effect it doesn't matter what we think of agreements in MCs and RDCs, they effectively get voted in or voted out by deliveriestoonshola wrote: ↑10 Jan 2022, 14:37Absolutely beyond hilarious that the union can claim ‘solidarity’ with these guys when it was the unions shambles of an agreement that has caused this.
