Tesco warehouse staff were threatening strike action last week until the company upped its offer.

Re: Tesco .Tip for CWU
I'm pretty sure the CWU will fully back whatever RM offer as the "deal if the century" in the same way they always do.
Probably a requirement to work Sundays in return for around 3%. Terry Bulllshitter will tell us it's an amazing deal after RM spent so much on extra vans. The offer will be made around September 2022 and 75% of posties will vote yes as they are more interested in the back pay than what the offer actually includes.

USDAW - Also known as - Useless Seven Days A Week.

Ha, I was in USDAW as well many moons ago.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Well, says I on leaving the retail sector, at least I won't be working as many weekends and Xmas won't be such a ball-ache in my next job.

Re: Tesco .Tip for CWU
I worked in retail as well before RM , but for some reason our union was the TGWU , they are just as s**t.
I remember when I left , the pay was pretty similar , just shows how badly shop workers are represented.
