Game on, we have to work it. First time RM have delivered on 1st January for decades. Does anyone know the last time we delivered on 1st January? Never in my 36 years but there’s always a first.

There will be a requirement to deliver covid test kits (lots of them)

That is how they got us for boxing day last year. (which was a saturday)

There are no collections on new years day but there are on new years eve and these will need to be processed in MC’s and delivered on new years day.

If that doesnt happen then those kits will sit for 2 or 3 days

So much for a work life balance! Absolutely flat out for the last couple of years and then this. Royal Mail really doesn’t care one bit about us. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals,

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Gonna be workin boy!

On Monday, the ordering of lateral flow test kits from the government website was also temporarily suspended - again due to high demand - while members of the public complained of waiting for hours in online queues for the chance to book a Covid vaccine appointment.

Downing Street said ministers were working with Royal Mail and Amazon to ensure more lateral flow tests can be delivered.

You think they going to allow the dropping of new years day now?
