Do managers actually have to stop postie out on delivery?
I was delivering.to firm , drove right up to door , about 5 metres from entrance , jumped out and delivered letter , keys out , last letter in loop , no other mail in front but forgot to close door , I think I saw managers at firm entrance some 70metres away ,
Could they take me down conduct for leaving door open ?

Never locked a van in my life except on some bad areas, and my DOM was a postie for 20 years before becoming a manager and did the same practices, so if it were my office I would just get a verbal warning if anything..

Back of van can be locked separately to front cab
