there's lots of discontent within our members and i'm really struggling to understand where we're heading under the current leadership
TP says everything is looking good whilst having a jolly old laugh with the CEO which should be great, but in reality, and judging by the general comments posted on here of which we don't know the identity of their offices, it's a totally calamity amongst the whole group, his comments regarding the the "its only £50 hardly enough to go out for meal" really sickened me the other week, and i've just self inflicted myself pain to view yesterdays love island show
how dare he say if you don't work enough overtime you will only lose pennies
this guy is so stuck up the CEO's arse it embarrassing , he's so out of touch with us regular posties
been in a union most my working life, but this guy offers zero to its members, a war cry for strike when rico was in charge, now we're afraid of change under his best buddy, nothings changed though

Shorter working week not sure many unions have got that, we earn well for what we do, get good terms and conditions but yes what has the union done for us lol. Our big problem is us all we need to do is start on time take our breaks and support any worker who has an unworkable workload stand together against the bully manager or postie.

Absolutely. I’m sick of hearing people moan daily and not doing anything about it. Yes I understand it’s not so easy for some people to stand up to management but your in control of your start time and doing the job properly at the least.

Yep, we used to be an industrial union now all I hear is political stuff.
Not all postal workers support the cwus leaders political agenda .

So much of our subs go to Labour, no one asks us the members if we want that money spent there. Dave Ward is a joke leader who sold us posties out in the last agreement, its time to kick him out of his £100000 + a year job, next election do not vote for him. Solidarity my arse.

You can opt out of paying the political party levy part of your subs which means you pay around 10p a week less - I did. In my opinion any contribution to political parties now should be reviewed urgently given how many politicians literally could not give a toss about the people they represent. When you've got MP's who for example want to take their babies into the House of Commons with them when they're supposed to be concentrating on making decisions that affect every person in the land then it's clear where their priorities actually lie.
