RMCtv : Royal Mail countrywide roadshow early next year

Post by POSTMAN »

Simon Thomson

Call rate
The actual %s are market sensitive - so I have removed them from the x-axis - but here is the trend...
This is for letters only and D2D's
There have been 2m more houses built in the last ten years - 3.4 million since peak letters in 2004/5

On the USO
decisions have not been made - we are planning a countrywide roadshow early next year - to consult on options with the public & interested stakeholder...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

One way to increase the call rate is to do the walk every other day as is whats happening now. So.. maybe Simon will see a steady rise in the call rate this year.

Its a bullshit graph missing information to really show what the actual decrease is. It could be a decrease of just 5% but looks dramatic spread over a decade.

Workplace is being used as another propaganda stream with the constant charts of ‘letter decline’.. but.. i dont feel it when im taking out two days work

Nailed on the uso is going to mon-fri for letters next year. Maybe 2023 at the latest. The fact he is saying no decision has been made means it’s pretty much a done deal. Just my opinion.

But Terry Bullshitter keeps telling us they don't want to get rid of the USO. Looks like the ranting Terry has been fed bullshit hook, line and sinker!

Maybe they don’t want to ditch the USO (which is frankly all that distinguishes RM from other delivery companies) but just want someone else, ie the government, to pay for it and that’s the object of these manoeuvres?

The essence of publishing a graph that could mean anything is: trust my interpretation of what it means. You'll forgive me for being reluctant to do that.
The machine stops.

He has not been fed anything - he is pretty much RM management by another name...he knows exactly what is/will happen
