Re: HOUSE HOLD DELIVERIES LEAFLETS.
Yes it's rubbish, last week most of our office had 6 but one section had 7
Thankfully next week down to 3 I think, which at this time of year is still 3 too many.

The worst are the "door to doors with addresses on" that we tend to get on a Saturday. Usually estate/letting agents, but the last 6 weeks we've had 2 each Saturday, addressed to every house in an area

Don’t they stop over Xmas pressure or did I imagine that?

They used to but not anymore. Also Xmas on a Saturday means a nice full week before hand

Re: HOUSE HOLD DELIVERIES LEAFLETS.
If anything with tonight's announcement of masks becoming mandatory again in shops and on public transport, my gut feeling is that the amount of D2D per week is going to shoot up with shops having to entice people to shop in them, who might not be reluctant to do soClappedoutpostie wrote: ↑27 Nov 2021, 18:11Don’t they stop over Xmas pressure or did I imagine that?

Re: HOUSE HOLD DELIVERIES LEAFLETS.
We have got 12 D2D's to do next week because of a Covid outbreak and these have been left for 3 weeks as cannot get into frame or enough time to sort of space in frame.
Some undelivered are for Black Friday

Re: HOUSE HOLD DELIVERIES LEAFLETS.
If they are out of contract date they should not really be delivered. Most are time sensitive and some are sycronised to other forms of adds (TV/ Radio).

Re: HOUSE HOLD DELIVERIES LEAFLETS.
They say you have x amount of door to doors, but fail to mention the unsolicited but addressed letters that come in your unsorted mail. This week it was pretty much one for 3/4's of the round.
I'm turning purple!

And what seems to happen a lot of the time is that you get a D2D for a particualr company and the week previously, the same week or
the week after you get unsolicited letters that are the same as the D2D - BT, Sky, Postcode Lottery etc., keeps us busy I suppose.

Re: HOUSE HOLD DELIVERIES LEAFLETS.
In that scenario, although still a ballache, just take them where you are already going save messing around on a Saturday. That’s what we’d be told.Kenfandango wrote: ↑27 Nov 2021, 16:03The worst are the "door to doors with addresses on" that we tend to get on a Saturday.
