Re: 100 Pounds?
I am on part time contract (24 hrs/week) but always doing 15 - 20 hrs overtime. First year doing Xmas so does pro rata mean I get 24/37ths of bonus or is my overtime taken into account as with Del Supplement. (24/37 of £100 would only be £64.86)

Re: 100 Pounds?
If you're PT you need to be ECR'ed to FT for the pressure period , if you're just doing the extra hours as normal OT then you will only get the pro rata rate so I suggest you see your rep and make sure the process is done correctly by your manager.

Re: 100 Pounds?
There are 2 separate £100 bonuses.
One is based on your contracted hours over the xmas pressure period. As stated above, unless you have officially been made up to full time for that period then you will get a pro rata bonus.
The other one is based on the actual hours you work.

The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: 100 Pounds?
Ditto what clash says.
The second one is paid pro-rata to your contracted hours, then in January you get an extra amount for any overtime (up to full time) that you work.

Re: 100 Pounds?
The bonus (if it's the usual pro rata fu*k all) is an absolute insult considering the year we've had. 2k would be more appropriate.

I always thought it was 100 from the company and 100 from the union? Shows how much attention I pay!

Re: 100 Pounds?
several years back we were given colleague shares to try to make it look like we held a stake in the company, these weren't real shares though,Seymour Buts wrote: ↑27 Nov 2021, 19:54I always thought it was 100 from the company and 100 from the union? Shows how much attention I pay!
but some did get to cash them in if leaving the company through ill health
if my memory serves me right, nearing the date we could all cash them in was when p&l started and were deemed worthless and scrapped because they had to buy loads of new vans & pda's
in recompense we were to receive £100 pro rata at xmas along side our bonus

Re: 100 Pounds?
With the amount of double mail we have had to take out this year. I've probably had at least 25 days of double mail. This would have saved the company a fortune. We should be rewarded with some of that. Seems they either have not bothered recruiting the staff they should have and have instead relied on us, or they simply failed with their recruitment and retainment of staff this year..... possibly because of all the double mail!
Then... Xmas...
We are banned from booking holiday during the 6 week run up to Xmas....
Some of us come in earlier....
Most of us stay out later....
The company would be a complete mess if we didn't..... our reward..... £200.
Come on! is that fair to us when we are going beyond the extra mile to keep this company alive during xmas? It should be double pay throughout the 6 weeks to Xmas.
