It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Improving quality
They should add to that chart, for each DO, how many walks that DO has, then we'd be able to have a rough idea of how big a DO they are

Re: Improving quality
My office is high on the list and hasn't even had a revision yet,so why would we have a PIR?

Re: Improving quality
Congratulations on Sheperds Bush DO on receiving the number one rank office for the UK. Outstanding effort there by everybody
Id love to go through that checklist with the ‘Taskforce Team’ when / if they visit our DO. Id have a field day saying my manager follows no guidelines or agreements set from RM /CWU. ‘Id love it if i met them, Love it’ (in Kevin Keegan voice)

Re: Improving quality
Big off season needed for us to challenge Shepherds Bush FC, but I’m confident with the wrong signings we can mount a title challenge. Commiserations Bristol South Utd, looks like you pushed them all the way.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Re: Improving quality
Not even made it into the list and we were hoping for a shot at the European places. Not sure what all those numbers mean but they must be in a right mess.

Re: Improving quality
Feckin hell, we didn't even make the top 100!! Are we in the championship then?
One the biggest problems in our office I believe is the over-reliance on overtime, particularly to part-timers. Some of our part-time colleagues have been starting an hour early (before the full-timers start time) and working nearly 50 hours a week, half of that being "overtime"
But because we are not in the top 100, will those part-timers get a full-time contract - or will it go to the troublesome offices??

On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
