RMCtv : West London Delivery Centre has been the first DO to be visited by the Task Force Team and it was needed! : Royal Mail doing their own thing?
MPU Manager at Royal Mail Group - Jack
The Top 10 Task Force Team are here to help!
West London Delivery Centre has been the first DO to be visited by the Task Force Team and it was needed!
For the last 8 weeks or so we have suffered substantial work plan and USO failures. The last few weeks we have started to see the light at the end of the tunnel- Jack Mitchell, Matthew Mangan & Raymond Mulvey have been a fantastic support the last week helping myself and the team get the support we needed.
We as a team and as individuals have refocused, simplified and thought outside the box with their assistance.
There is no action plan that you are left with, all the actions that are required get completed before they redeploy into another unit. Stephen Molloy thank you for coming down to WLDC and giving your support and direction!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Jenny Hall Director Corporate Affairs at Royal Mail Group
Hi Jack, brilliant to hear this is having a real impact straight away. Good luck to WLDC!
Senior Performance Manager at Royal Mail Group
You & the team turned the unit around Jack post Covid and with the support (thank you Task force) I know you can do it again!
Senior Business Manager at Royal Mail Group - Another one
Brilliant work all!
Head of Delivery Planning at Royal Mail Group
Great teamwork all, well done
Anthony Bouch - CWU
Fascinating to read this post and the comments. Amazing how no reference to working with the CWU on this…..ah I answered my own question!
Stephen Molloy Head of Delivery Performance at Royal Mail Group
Both divisional and area CWU and Unite have been involved in both sites that we are in Chelmsford and WLDC and been extremely helpful and supportive. As I always do I want to say a public thank you to them for all their help and support which continues massively in Chelmsford in particular. Thanks for raising though tony.
Anthony Bouch-CWU
Stephen Molloy thanks for the response by to be clear the Area Rep for WLDC have had no involvement and have written formally to management raising this locally. As for Chelmsford, we have been advised discussions and calls only took place last night with the Divisional Reps after the event and not before and jointly working together.
Hopefully we can discuss at the SI meeting on Monday and progress the CWU response to the Terms of Reference which was sent earlier this week.

Oh dear, did no one ask the CWU about things.
Welcome to the world of the postie, not told or consulted on anything - a bit like the CWU's attitude to their own members, Any chance Terry will stop going on about "we" now?!

..welcome to our world. A world where you are not part of what is going on in any sort of meaningful and constructive fashion, but where you will have to pick up the pieces of whatever has been left scattered around. Good luck with that.POSTMAN wrote: ↑16 Nov 2021, 17:09

QUITE STRANGE REALLY
Lot of rhetorich again-but no actual solutions listed as to what they have done to improve the depot ?????
Just a lot of words
Thought the 10 depots were not going to be named aka Mr Thompsons comments
And if I not mistaken-its an awful lot more than 10 re Areas in Uk coming to light on various websites re complaints re no deliveries for days/weeks even month !!!!
Wondering if that debacle In Brighton on the list Re Covid Outbreak
But the team not really needed according to the managment there
It was just the cleaner with his Mop and Bucket Deep Clean ???????????????????????

You only have to look at quotes like these, office bods praising what they think they are reading without an actual f***ing (sorry Clash) clue as to what the feck actually went on.Jenny Hall Director Corporate Affairs at Royal Mail Group

Yes fantastic work from the Taskforce - Well done.
Maybe if the manager never signed off an absolute car crash revision then they wouldnt be needed?
I feel a promotion is in order for the manager

Our office is one of them. Apparently in top 3.
Spoke to dom about it he then told me hes part of the task force team.!!!!!....Got much much worse in the 2 1/2 yrs hes been there. staff not being replaced,(still 11 short)not enough vans due to volume of parcels.(last yr all had single van s so parcels fitted.).. 20 plus test kits a day .redilverys due to photo delivery taken more back in last month than 6 months.fail walks as they cannot organise 4 large boxes ( childrens car seat size) to be taken out as they fill van up .So get told to leave loops .Averageing 5 d2ds. Moral lowest ive ever seen.shop floor managers feel the same.DOM lives in fantasy land hes part of the okd boy network. Cant wait till the signed off revision starts in Jan..It will be all okay then.

Well that went well. 2 extra staff ,4 extra vans. We got excess Van's now due to covid sickness. Our office (last week) is now in one of the ones reported RM site as delays..Nothing changed except date for revision.(looks like going ahead as it seems all good in majority of offices according to Simon and his partner Terry) Never seen so many lies ,We still got xmas post in office. How RM r getting away with it with Ofcom.
