Monday 06.00-14.20.
Tuesday06.00-13.20.
Wednesday06.00-14.20.
Thursday06.00-14.20
Friday06.00-14.20.
Saturday06.00-12.50.

This is the shift hours for our DO but we have heard that the Dum has some ideas around flexi time but we all felt it was only fair to tell the twat that we have our ideas to and it dont match his so i can see some problems coming up sorry that should have been challenges as we dont do problems according to the twat. :speak to the hand

Mon 06.00-14.00
Tue 06.00-13.30
Wed 06.00-14.15
Thu 05.45-14.05
Fri 05.45-14.15
Sat 05.45-13.10

One problem we're having with these times is, on a Tue & Sat we work less thean 8 hours, so management has cut our breaks to 30 mins on these days, that's 20 mins per F/T per week they are clawing back from us. A disagreement has been put in by the union, but nothing has been resolved so far. It doesn't help when there are more and more refusing to take their breaks. :evil/mad

Times at Sale D.O.

Mon 06.15 - 14.45
Tue 06.15 - 14.15
Wed 06.15 - 14.15
Thu 06.15 - 14.45
Fri 06.15 - 14.45
Sat 05.15 - 11.45

Balanced to cover heavier days - all times include meal breaks of 40 minutes to be taken before departure apart from Saturday when the half hour break can be taken at the end of duty (11.15) to allow an earlier finish - no mailsort 3 deliveries on Saturdays.

All in all a sensible arrangement without extreme changes to our original hours, although because we are still getting despatches in early quite a few people are coming in before time and working for nothing.

Pisses me off when I start at the correct time and the guys next to me have 2 or 3 boxes of walksort already in their frames and they are rushing out without a break when I am going up for my weetabix - however, I have noticed that they are ageing much faster that I am.
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

If long and short's are comeing in and they will this look's more like a sensible idea but it must take account of the idividual's !.

A few staff with special family needs have been accommodated by bringing them in early for cut and tip work and then allowing them off the IPS early instead so unless we get a sudden outbreak of new parents in the office we seem to be okay at the moment - our only real problem is that as we have lost full timers to part time jobs the IPS capable group is getting smaller and working harder to support everyone else - and some are not pulling their weight - if you are reading this boss - please take note !!!
