He gets it, but he really doesn't get it.
I liked when he mentioned IHP-had forgotten about that one, just another lost benefit supposedly giving us a higher basic pay. He spoke like it was a major achievement.
Add that onto our rubbish overtime rates that also got amalgamated into basic pay, and we should on about 25 quid an hour by now.

didn't hear is answer to why it was left to the branch secretary to vote on our behalf without consultation and quite a few didn't even both to vote, they should be sacked for that in my opinion too

Apparently, with a 'branch vote' there should have been office meetings to vote yes/no then with the aggregate being what it is, yes or no, that is the branch vote. Unless I'm mistaken.

no, they vote on our behalf but should have briefed all the area covered at the proposal to get a rough idea of yay or nay
even our office rep knew nothing about the vote or deal on offer

25 branches couldn't even be bothered to vote!
looks like a small percentage of the vote on their area's members behalf looking at the actual vote count and wouldn't have probably made a difference but the fact of the matter is they didn't even try
