Simon promised on his q@a videos that if u didn’t want payslips u could opt out via the peoples app, now he is saying it would be unpopular, funny that, so many people now go on the peoples app why would we want payslips, mine just go in the blue bin.

i think you shouldn't be able to, for your sake. What if the app goes wrong? What if your lino has short timed you or not paid your overtime, and you can't get access to the app?

As if they are going to takeaway 100/150k worth of letters out of the system every week. Even at 100k letters a week it’s 5.2m a year that they can use to bolster the figures….

It’s the same with the courier through the flats traffic etc etc.

I've heard this before.... but surely the people they are "bolstering the figures" for.... know this massive flaw? Thus making it a ludicrously absurd argument, so therefor probably correct.

A lot of us don’t get letters everyday, sometimes my post is so bad two of them come together, what use is that I rely on the peoples approx my wages, also less paper used helps the environment

Wandering off on a tangent here and playing devils advocate - it's debatable which method
of receiving your pay information harms the environment the least (rather than 'helping the environment').

Whatever device you're using to access your online data must have been created with rare earth metals,
the mining of which are destroying theenvironment and the possi ble use of labour which is poorly paid and made to
work in unsafe conditions.

The data which you are accessing also has to be stored for access when you want it and
for as long as you want it 24/7/52/365 on servers in a data centre somewhere which will
use massive amounts of electricity which may or may not have been generated using fossil fuels.

Right, break over,, put my phone away, start the engine of this polluting diesel wagon to deliver Farmer Jones
Farming Catalogue down 2 miles of road and that's the only mail he's got today so well worth wasting the diesel over.......
