Working in an office that you have lost a B&H case

Who on here would find it hard to go back to an office that you had file a B&H case against a manager? Would you think that they would be trying to make you pay for it? Give you a hard time? Would you in general feel on edge about the whole thing? Now taking into account the B&H case was not upheld as with most against managers. What would you do for the best? Any help on this topic would be appreciated.

It all depends on the staff around you, do you have friends who will back you up and help you through or are those around managers sycophants because the same thing happened my my office and I and others helped the person by being there for support.

This time last year I put a B & H case against my LM, my DOM investigated and found in my favour. I have found it very awkward to work with him, I try to avoid him if possible. At the time there were about 6 of us that had a B & H issue with him but I was the only one that went down the official lines, I wish the others had pursued there grievance with him then we might not have to put up with him. All my colleagues were very supportive which helped me get through it all. I admit I'm under the impression that some of the other LM's are trying to make my life awkward, but I may just be paranoid. There is no way I would let them have the pleasure of bullying me out of my job, if/when I leave, I leave on my terms not theirs.

traditionally territorial , you will get "coincidences " for telling tales out of class , an institutionalised overgrown prefect who believes in that system; to most people it's just a job but that's somebody else's problem . That's the spirit otherwise you'll get a culture based purely on bullying .

RM would love to just make people out to be "troublemakers " and put "bad faith" counter charges on people to "teach them a lesson ", as they are giving them a problem they're not inclined to deal with or would like to be "kept down" -swept under the carpet .

I put in a B/H case against 3 managers when SDD came in they thought they could push me into doing the job thier way when i knew it couldn't be done,2L/N managers and the sappy DOM i won all 3 cases i still work in the same office and only the DOM is left the rest have gone over the last few months,it is hard but i know that i can talk to my mates if things feel bad,i've been lucky and i think the managers are nervous of me as i will help anyone who asks and is in the same boat,find the rules out and use them, use to your best advantage, knowledge is a very dangerous thing if used right.

If it was me that was getting bullied and won my case i'd probably be looking for a payoff from RM or the people that have caused misery to be sacked.

i was in a similar perdicament! on thursday the day after boxing day, it was the quietest ive ever known it to be, anyway i am a reserve, and i was put on a round for the week. MY line manager was taken ill that day! So we had an acting LM, right nob hed bully! anyway i got into work at 9am my start time to find, my walk i was on given out as overtime, i was thinking well what i am, so go n find the fkin c***, to say im on this much bigger walk, thinking fkin me about, again, well that wasnt the end of it, the person on the walk it was asigned to came in, then i was thinking what am i doing now, anyway ask the c*** agen he tells me, you can do half off some other walk, really f***ing me bout at this point, anyway he says just throw off this other walk then take it out, so threw this walk out then took the half a walk out. Didnt stop there did it hen i got back top the office at 11.30 he goes your back early, let me give you somthing to do! at this point i was bout to hit him! had a big argument with him telling him i aint taking it out so on, anyway he says im your manager i tell you what to do, not you telling me wha to do so i ended out taking half the walk i was to do in the first place.

Now I am wondering if to put a bullying and harrasment in against him, what you rekon??

Yes do that. I went thro a lot to be told lies to my face! They just cover themselves and dot there I's and cross all the T's . Unless you have loads of witnesses etc to back you up, i wasnt thinking along those lines at the time and never thought of saying to anyone nearby did you see or hear that! You just get so stressed you dont think that. Good luck anyhow. sure let us know.

Happy new year for starters..

Now i hear wot you say and i feel the same way about me going back to my MC.. Its a no go and my GP and ATOS have even said the same.... Now it took my MC nearly 3 years to take this on board that i have to have a transfer.. I put in for one and thru the issues of my H&B case i had in it was deemed I was wrong and I was then accused and put under the CODE of CONDUCT.. So in a manner blocked my move... Who would take a person with a attendance problem.. (caused by RM) and a CofC in tail as well???? Not many... So then they wantd to dismiss me under the Ill health retirement act... Im not having it.... Ive been to see the CWU legal Dept and my branch.. Hoping to get things sorted but its a weight on me and i can understand how you feel Mads... It drives ya nutz..

I want it over with and sorted but RM just drag there heels and blame us or shift it so we will never get a fair hearing... Look at Burslem and Big Dave.... The 12 Posties that have to go thru the stress and ordeal of everything just because RM and a few bully boys think it ok to get good people to bend over for em... ITS JUST WRONG...
