How's my driving? trial

Post by POSTMAN »

Team discussions have taken place around the launch of How’s My Driving? To promote safer driving and behaviours.
The fleet of vans have been labeled and are ready for the trial to go live today in Bootle and Seaforth DO.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Unnecessary pressure it adds for sure. On the other hand just driver slowly and safely, make sure you are parked properly if this will impact your delivery and you will have to fail and bring some back, be it.

One of the driving instructors who does the changeover actually said most of the time ignore the Trimble because it’s far too sensitive to the point it’s dangerous - I’ve noticed before, you can be driving at 25 in a 30, approaching lights, they start to change, if you brake it beeps, if you go through you’re risking running a red light. And then there’s the occasions the damn thing beeps for absolutely no reason when you’re in neutral, handbrake on waiting at a crossing.....
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

PDA Actuals, Trimble, now dob in stickers on the back of vans, how many other companies bring in measures where all they achieve is to slow posties and their work rate down, but at the same time keep wanting MORE out of posties? :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

If only we had a union that would stand up to RM and stop them from making our job harder and harder. Instead we got a union that rolls over and does exactly what RM want. Under Dave and Terry working conditions have drastically changed for the worse and all for a few extra quid a week.
