Frame Layout
So I have had a look at the way they are going label and layout some of our jobs in afew weeks when the revision is implemented.
The order most of them run in looks totally wrong, going past places doing uturns etc. My question is though if you are on a job you don’t know how the hell are you ment to know which order to bag the job up, labelling Loop 1, Loop 2 has disappeared and there are no markers on labels which will go on the frame

Re: Frame Layout
Do it to the frame, when you’ve hit time, bring it back, the planners get paid more than you, not your problem.

Re: Frame Layout
My office is/was like that. The frames are mostly being changed back to the layout beforehand.

Re: Frame Layout
Will be interesting if the data for the walk had already been updated on A+ (or whatever that system is now called). You might find that the sequence batches get updated with that new data and then all your sequenced will come in wrong

Re: Frame Layout
Considering the office is a total mess, I've been thinking we should do our duties "THE WAY OF THE PLANNER" as a kind of protest.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑27 Sep 2021, 19:52Will be interesting if the data for the walk had already been updated on A+ (or whatever that system is now called). Re: Frame Layout
We are 4 weeks in now, and the only word depicting the planers work that comes to mind is sabotage.

Re: Frame Layout
Is it that bad, are most still cutting off even after 4 weeks?
Well, maybe not most, but some jobs were left untouched.
Those that were "adjusted" kind of fail every day, or are finished on a docket.

Re: Frame Layout
We are 8 weeks in and of the 20 walks in the section only 4 are completed on a daily basis - some with extended delivery.Grumpyoldmailman wrote: ↑28 Sep 2021, 21:28

Some walks do half one day, half the next. Others do 1/3 each day.
Some HCT walks have 2 people on them to try and clear but rarely do.
There are several yorks of undelivered parcels in the corner - some have been there for over 4 weeks.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: Frame Layout
Blimey sounds a right mess. The 2 nearest offices from ours have had their table top revisions in for a while now but we are going to be blessed with one of these structural ones in the next couple of weeks, I wonder why they are still railroading them through if it’s not going to plan with the ones they have already done.clashcityrocker wrote: ↑29 Sep 2021, 16:40We are 8 weeks in and of the 20 walks in the section only 4 are completed on a daily basis - some with extended delivery.
