It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: The trust check-in
Only 67% of employees are aware of the units action plan? Thats good? Wow.
This to me seems like a tick box exercise for RM especially in Delivery offices. Its all talk talk talk and literally no actions to back it up. Our action plan has 3 area’s of improvement and next steps which have not been acted on at all or progressed.
These Trust Survey results are now connected to manager’s annual bonus payments, but are the managers scored just for their specific unit or as an overall throughout the country? Would be interesting to know and i would of thought it was the latter
RM imo will find it hard to gain trust with employees if there is no transparency on shop floor

Re: The trust check-in
So in June a DO won the award for, and I quote..."the incredible work that Screw1, Screw2 and the team are doing to build trust at the Doorstep and in the Workplace"
Yet yesterday I had to send a colleague there details about 'We continue to expect most coronavirus related absences to be discounted from
the normal attendance procedure' cause Screw1 is trying to do someone with a stage warning who went off with Corona and also had to self-isolate a while back.
Just checking in.

Re: The trust check-in
I suppose it would go up if you’re getting the managers to fill the survey in , I know I have never filled one in and never will no matter how they try to coerce.
