Delivery scan when delivered,,

Post by Chelseablue »

I always thought that when we deliver something tracked it should come up on the customers phone right away . A lot of the time we get a delivery to the house the notification comes up a lot of the times a cpl hours later on ?

I’ve often had customer come running out when I’ve scanned no answer , so I assume that is instant notification.

I suppose it's just technology playing catch up more then anything.Mobile signals,WiFi etc different systems talking to each other.

Agree with theo, tech is crap sometimes, somedays there will be like 45 notifications waiting to be sent
at end of duty, even with a reboot they won't go. Once I covered a duty then was on leave and then a different
office for a couple of weeks and when I returned to home office the original duty bod for the round I'd covered
had to get me to log on to his PDA again to clear notifications from 2 weeks previous!
