Hi,
Just wondered if anyone had any words of advice for me on here?
If I joined Royal Mail working in processing and (then got an increase in hours to become a collections driver which was still based in processing and with at least 2 hours a day in processing after my collection) can management under realignment put me in delivery and tell me to go out and deliver before/after my collection?
I have never worked for delivery and would point out that this isnt what I signed up for.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Collections
AFAIK collections don't come under processing. They either separate or come under distribution (one of the two)

Re: Collections
Go out and do the delivery so slow and bring loads back with you. After 2 weeks they won't be asking for you again I promise you that. Do a good job on the delivery and you will be doing it ubtil retirement. Choice is yours!!

Re: Collections
Thanks for your responses, just a little bit gutted that the union looks so powerless on this issue.
Will see what happens.
Thanks again.
