Post by worktotime »

can anybody understand why the cwu and r/m are doing revisions to be implemented by October for the 1 hour off the working week to 37hrs when come April arent we going to go down to a 35 hr week and wasnt that in the last agreement ? and to be honest we wont have any chance in our delivery office to get any structural revision done this side of xmas , :left:

The original flightpath to 35hrs was ditched a long time ago.
As far as I'm aware they're still discussing a new plan.

Yes, the union failed (again).

October 2021 that's when we should be working 35 hours.

What about us on 25hrs? Will we be working 35hrs as well instead of 45?

You'll get a (roughly) 2.5% pay rise on both your 25 hour contracted hours and your 10 or 20 hours overtime.

Yes but in the ‘innovative’ way they do things it will be negotiated in Autumn 2023 and be backdated to make sure we pay most of it back in tax. Probably be a whopping 1.5% aswell.

I doubt anybody works when they don't want to, it's the fact that we have to continually work just o/t to boost our pay to full time, rather than just be given f/t contracts. There would be no need for the holiday pay agreement if the hours reflected the job being carried out.

If they had then all these non jobs would go and they wouldn’t be a need for all this upheaval.

can garauntee that most revisions will be be brought in by the time the standard reduction of ft is down to 37 and nothing will be altered to factor in the -12mins p/d after, exactly what happened 39 to 38
the cwu & rm have our pants down and grease ready
