Covid Isolation

Post by 10shamrock »

I have just had 2 days off work self isolating as my daughter was showing symptoms of covid 19.
The test has now come back as negative so I can return to work.
It is actually my day off tomorrow - does anyone know if they can make me come into work as I've been isolating for the last 2 days??
Any help would be very much appreciated.

They may ask did you show symptoms and have a PCR test? ( And provide proof of result)
If not you may owe time back.

You isolate only if you show symptoms or when a member of family at same residence test positive.(or when told by the Covid app)

Did your daughter actually have Covid?

You should also self-isolate again if:
someone you live with gets symptoms
• someone in your support bubble gets symptoms and you were in close contact with them since their symptoms started or during the 48 hours before they started

The person with symptoms should get a test...

You have to isolate if you or anyone in your house/support bubble shows symptoms and not just when someone has tested positive. If they test positive you remain in isolation.
