Help please
Just sorted our revision and in the process of getting new labels for our frames and I’ve taken on a new development of 168 properties which is not completed yet, I’ve worked out the route for this development which I need to put in order on the frame but I’m being told that frame labels cannot be printed for properties not yet registered, is this correct?

Re: Help please
Yes, thats how they work it. Don't know why, if the builders are in the process of building them, why not add them.

Re: Help please
That's true. Until they're built and registered with the council they won't appear on our system.
However there's an easy way round this. It might sound complicated but it's really not.
Each section of frame is divided into 40 slots and the label printing system assigns a figure of 1 for each one. Usually, if you're not doubling up on a frame you assign each slot a figure of 2 so you get 20 slots per section.
Say that one new property is built and on our system then you just give it a figure of 336 which is two slots for all of your 168 properties. The labels will then print off all your duty with a load of blank space ready for your new development. You can then either ask for new prints as they come on the system or just draw the lines below the dividers and write it in with a pen in the sequence you want. If you have no new builds done yet you just give the previous call to them a figure of 338.
Done this loads of times. It saves a print being done every time a new call appears and also allows you to learn the rest of the frame without it changing all the time.

Re: Help please
Obtain some white paper adhesive stickers and redo the frame as to the best method for you to complete it. I have done this on a very small scale where there have been small numbers of new houses built on my walk. I have had them added to the PAF so they should come in order in the mech.
