Revolving day off

Post by silver_fox »

hi all
i currently work 5 weeks 6 days a week then get a week off, i was wondering if its possible to change to a revolving day off instead?
if i managed to get this should i expect tuesdays off every week ( light day so easier to cover ) or do they have to vary it?
thanks

Is it only you/certain staff members or the whole office that work this pattern?

Generally speaking, there has to be a vacant duty available in order to switch.
This should be advertised on the board and will go to the senior applicant.
As an example, it took me multiple applications for vacant duties and over 4 years before I actually succeeded in getting one.
