Why cant she pick up because she doesnt drive is a terrible excuse. Is there no public transport.

They can refuse but they have to have a reason to do so. If you disagree with the decision the Union has branch specialists in Equality and that's the best place to go and get advice.

Since its only been a couple of days since you asked on here for the forms I'm struggling with the timescales for you handing in the completed form and a reasonable assessment to be made.

You cannot do this unofficially, it has to follow the correct procedure and the business can only refuse on a narrow selection of genuine business grounds NOT on your personal circumstances.

If they ve told you ur wife should pick up thats not a business reason if you took this further appeal or tribunal you would easily win..
