Where do we stand ?
The gate is always a good place to start.

If you rep and Dom have been on their joint love in  training session for revisions then toilet stops should be factored in at Task 13 of any revision.
So if the management are claiming that it isn't relevant your rep should be pointing him to the Task that need doing from the formal start up meeting.
Seems your dom is literally taking the piss as normal. :no no
Royal Mail managers.....about as popular as a t.urd in a swimming pool!

You can always drive back to the office, but if you're the only one who keeps doing it, expect to be challenged.

I think Managers should be made to walk around the office for 4-5hrs without going to the toilet, also with a PDA so we can see if THEY stop.

Increasing duties to 5 hours, just done 6 1/2 hours today. On rural route, can always find somewhere to stop & then use hand sanitizer.

Most duties are near or over 5 hrs just now , the future revisions look awful . Can the dom sign them off regardless?

The union want hanging for agreeing these revisions. Most our duty’s are already 5 hours and our revision is looking at extending them, quoting some bullshit jargon ‘work items per hour’. As long as terry is having cosy chats and cups of tea with the big boys though eh. Although I would bet those little friendly meetings will come to an end come October once Royal Mail have rammed through their changes.

NO, we now are in a love in, the rep and DOM should be holding hands while they brief you on the new duties for YOU GUYS to VOTE on.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Our revision is so far advanced that either we are going to be presented with a fait accompli or they are going to have to start from scratch (which I can't see them doing)
There is very little to excite enough people to vote it in - which makes me think they won't let us vote at all.

It would appear to me that given that the rewards are so meagre and the staff are so far from being invested in Terry and Simon's brave new world that the revision, once implemented, will go pear shaped very quickly.

This is back in the early 2010's, our revision was voted out. It was forced in, chaos ensued, 2 pairings had a fight on the floor. Cut off's were all over the place. They were paying people 3hrs overtime to complete 1 row!

Walks should be timed to the individual, not Superman who comes in early & thinks they deserve a medal if they finish an hour early.

This has been bothering me from the start, how do you sell major change when there's so little to offer in return?

Nobody likes change especially change that means later starts and longer deliveries so the default position will be no. What happens to this wonderful new relationship TelSi have when the revisions start getting knocked back? Will the union start pressurising local reps to pressure members to accept these revisions?

This could get very messy very quickly.
