It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

About time to be fair. We either needed to open up a lot longer or have those amazon style locker pick up options

I think Royal Mail has hidden behind coronavirus for far too long, using it to cut costs. Callers' offices are long overdue retuning to at least normal opening times as is the return to 9am and 1pm for the special deliveries - after all they are still charging the full price.

Over eighty deliveries in the DO, over 1000 items are being held in the Enquiry Office and we close all day Wednesday. Opening for Monday and Tuesday just for couple of hours ..... wake up Royal Mail..... that's not the way provide customer service. Customers want their items ..... no you can not have them ... we are closed. What's the meaning of limited hours now ?????

Our late locker night was always Wednesday,for as long as I can remember. This was mysteriously changed to Thursday at the beginning of the pandemic. Achieved nothing apart from pissing a lot of customers off. Why do RM do these things?
