Trust survey : 66,413 (48%) colleagues have told us what it feels like to work here
EMAIL:
As you are aware, the last three weeks has seen our first jointly sponsored Big Trust Survey running across the UK – whether you took the time to complete the survey, supported your team or colleagues to do so, or were part of the wave of activity that was seen across workplace and social media; thank you. This has meant 66,413 colleagues have told us what it feels like to work here which at 48% is almost one in two of you – an incredible first step in helping rebuild trust across the organisation.
Completing the survey is just the start. Over the next few weeks we will be analysing the results to get the insight to determine the key areas of focus for us, concentrating on the areas that matter the most to you. We are jointly committed to working on this together to make positive cultural change.
In the meantime though, we can announce some headline results - our Trust Index is now 62% which is an increase of 3 from the little Trust Survey carried out in February.
In terms of our engagement measure, for the first time ever we have reached a comparable level with that of other UK companies at 67%.
So, what happens next?
Unit and shift results will be shared over the next few weeks so that your feedback, thoughts and ideas can feed into local joint action plans. We want to ensure that we have great action plans and agreed timelines across the organisation that tackle the big and small issues. We will continue to work together to build the solutions that improve working relationships, culture and environment and have a positive impact the working lives of us all.
Telling us what you think was the first step, now we need to focus on the action.
Thank you again for your support.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Less than 50% after the business and the union pushing it hard?
That's a red flag.

That's 38% that don't trust the company/management... not sure that's anything to celebrate. In the meantime though, we can announce some headline results - our Trust Index is now 62% which is an increase of 3 from the little Trust Survey carried out in February.

Isn't that 62% of 48% or something similiar? In the meantime though, we can announce some headline results - our Trust Index is now 62% which is an increase of 3 from the little Trust Survey carried out in February.

no doubt the cwu leaders will be disappointed at the 48% turnout, yet they were cockahoop at the 52% for the pay deal agreement
as posted above about polishing a turd, like saying 62% of us employed now trusts the managment?
but it's only 41k staff out of 130k (ish) which is very poor

66,413 ( which incudes the alleged agency workers who participated in the survey) is 48% of 138,360, which means 71,947 did not participate.
In the EOS 2018; 82% took part. This equated to circa 115,000 colleagues.

Why alleged ? Agency workers did participate cause they couldn't get their own staff to do so.

Fair point, In writing "alleged" I was merely interpreting the following quote from Terry Pullinger, i.e. "Don't know how true it is...."tractorboy2 wrote: ↑13 May 2021, 10:29Why alleged ? Agency workers did participate cause they couldn't get their own staff to do so.
"I don't remember us talking about are agency members filling it in .. this is more about Royal Mail Group employees, I have been told, don't know how true it is, that some agency workers have just been scanning the code.... they have been participating, some of the agency workers

Any data analyst will tell you there's something "off" with the difference in participation levels between North Service Delivery and South Service Delivery.
There's no way that's a natural discrepancy.
Something shady has occured.
