Hopefully it’s sooner than the 21st but for the moment it’s looking like the 21st! Yeah!

Maybe they have to walk out to duty every day, or maybe they have been working the afternoon shifts?

Some people have scored out of shared vans being withdrawn and some people have had a hard time.
To be honest that's just yet another example of poor management as if we needed any more.

And why not? I don’t know if you’ve noticed but since lockdown a lot of post people have become so lazy that they now don’t want to work and complain when they are asked to complete on a daily basis! It was never going to go back to how we used to work 10 years ago so people have to accept that van share was always going to come back! If you don’t want to van share you could always go on a rural duty etc and work on your own!

Strangely enough its the lazy lot in my office who want van shares back, so they can sit and eat crisps while the driver does the big packets, our office has cleared better now the lazy ones are on their own and not holding others back, the afternoon lot will be gutted their 8.30-2 shifts will be finished though, but every office is different.

Totally opposite in our office - but as you said every office is different and the managers at my office have been completely useless in managing therefore people have been allowed to do what they want for the last 12 months!

I'd go further and state that some have had a 12 months of work that dreams are made of, whereas some have left the job through stress.

The union were very quick to support single van working, but ran a mile when it came to addressing the issues it threw up and how badly it was/is being managed.

My partner & I are going to stick to single van, we take it in turns to drive, meaning the walker can go straight home instead of going back to the office. :thumbup

You might not get an options after its re introduced, it might be a case of the business says we are doing this so go and do it.

Clearly one of the lazy ones that don’t want to work so you’ll make up an excuse to try and not go back to van sharing!
